Our Story


The objective of the project was to design and develop a fuel cell system to enhance an environmental monitoring system that is powered by solar PV and battery for prolonged operation. A microchip controller is used to integrate the fuel cell stack with a battery charger and switch to charge the battery when solar energy is not available. The activation of fuel cell for energy replenishment is determined by the state of charge (SOC) of the battery.
