Our Story


The aim of this project was to design and build a motion platform simulator for an F1 racing game. It has engine motion software that interpretes the F1 game and converts the driver’s action into movement instructions for the electro-mechanical platform. A microcontroller board acts as the interface for these signals to the two DC linear motors, which provide the pitch and roll to simulate the appropriate G-force.
